THANGASSERI BEACH  
   

Thangasseri beach is located around 5kms from the town of Kollam. It is 3km long and has various historical sites situated near by that can be explored while visiting Thangasseri beach.

Europeans especially Portuguese remains can be seen at the place. Their glorious architecture has added to the mood and ambience of the beach. The surrounding not only looks divine but the esthetical comfort you get at Thangasseri beach is amazing.

The chief attraction of Thangasseri beach is the old lighthouse, which is open to all the visitors. In addition to this, the ruins of the Old Portuguese churches and forts are the other popular sites for travelers to visit.
